About the Artist – Erin Davis

I want you to EXPERIENCE the art!

I’ve always believed that art should be more than something you simply look at. It should pull you in, stir something inside you, and invite you to connect — not just visually, but physically and emotionally. That belief is at the heart of every textured piece I create.

My work began with a love for color and movement, but it grew into something deeper the moment I discovered the power of texture. There’s something magical about building layers you can actually touch — ridges that catch the light, grooves that hold emotion, and surfaces that feel alive beneath your fingertips. Texture brings art into the real world. It grounds you, engages you, and transforms a moment into an experience.

Each piece begins with intention. I sculpt every layer by hand, allowing the texture to guide the flow of the painting. Sometimes it’s bold and energetic; other times it’s soft and calming. But no matter the style, each artwork is designed to evoke a feeling — peace, strength, warmth, reflection, or curiosity. I want you to experience the art, not just observe it.

My hope is that when you interact with my work, you feel something shift. Maybe it’s grounding, joy, calm, or inspiration. My pieces are created to bring depth and emotional presence into your space — offering a transformative moment every time you see or touch them.

Creative Background

Before stepping fully into textured art, I spent years working as a graphic designer and professional vehicle wrapper — careers that sharpened my eye for composition, color, detail, and flow.

Graphic design taught me how to create visual balance, communicate through color, and make art both intentional and impactful. Vehicle wrapping, on the other hand, pushed my creativity into a 3D world — where I learned how artwork interacts with curves, angles, reflections, and movement. Working hands-on with materials, vinyl, and large-scale designs strengthened my appreciation for touch, surface, and dimensionality.

These experiences shaped the artist I am today. They taught me to think beyond flat images and inspired my love for texture, surface, and art that can be felt. My background in design and wraps influences every canvas I create — from the flow of each line to the way light plays across raised surfaces.
